Rehearsal Style Workshop with Augustin

Service Description

Augustin's final offering on the west coast will be a two-hour rehearsal-style contemporary pole creative process. Expect to learn a few phrases, explore group partnering, and do some in-the-moment problem-solving as we build a piece in real time. Let's make one last mess <3 Ideal for dancers who have some experience learning choreography, are open to trial & error, experimentation and working with other bodies. Students should be familiar with hand grips (true, cup, twisted), be able to pole pirouette; invert from the ground; pole head/handstand (or working toward); shoulder mount (or working toward) Recommend loose clothing, with an option for skin (some dancers may be climbing the pole), but wear whatever you want.
