In Intro to Belly Dance, Iselda will be teaching the fundamental techniques of iconic belly dance movements, with a special focus on circular/smooth/round movements for the hips and upper body and shimmies.
Iselda Amar has worked professionally as a Bellydancer for 10 years, has been a Costume Designer for almost as long, and has recently started exploring working as a Model. Her performances have been as varied as opening for touring rock bands as well as participating in the 2016 TwitchCon talent show. She performs regularly at Kasbah Lounge, Yianni's Grill and Palace Hookah Lounge in Sacramento. She has won awards for her solo and group dance work and also for her costuming and cosplays. She is also a member of the The Crown Jewels dance troupe and Studio Manager of Thrive Movement Arts.
