Soul Pole: Sequences with Imani Saturday July 12 from 6:30-7:30 pm in Sacramento 1650A Tribute Rd, Sacramento CA 95815 Class Passes Accepted ~ Class Description~ This class will focus on artistry and musicality within the execution of pole tricks, floor work & the combination of both. Sequences will be broken down to craft and perfect technique movement. The objective of this class is for students to learn movement and make it their own, developing their own style or swag. There will be an emphasis on R&B and Hiphop music. ~Prerequisites~ pirouette, 3+ Pole level 1 or intro to choreo classes ~ What to Wear ~ -Anything you feel comfortable in such as bikinis, sports bras, shorts, leg warmers etc. Knee grip is not necessary for this specific workshop. But make sure shoulders, arms, and under arms are exposed to grip the pole. ~ What to Bring ~ -knee pads -Heels (recommended 8in or 7in) or Socks ~Get to Know Imani~ Imani is a performer based in Sacramento, California, with over a decade of experience in ballet, heels, musical theatre, hip hop, and more. She discovered her passion for pole dance in 2020, and it quickly became a transformative force in her life. With over five years of pole experience, Imani brings power, grace, and storytelling to every performance. Through pole, she found not only an art form but a vibrant community that offered connection, empowerment, and a deep sense of belonging. It has given her the confidence to express herself unapologetically and embrace her full authenticity as both an artist and individual
