Saturday March 22 and Saturday April 26 from 2:15 - 3:30 PM Held at the Sacramento Studio: 1650A Tribute Road, Sacramento, CA 95815 Class Passes Accepted ~Int/Adv Handstands Description~ In this workshop, Natalie will teach various ways to get upside down on the floor using the pole. We will be getting into some of the poses from a layback, knee hangs and kicking up from the floor, so be sure to wear pole shorts. You will learn drills and conditioning for pole handstands and different types of floor inversions, including headstands, forearm stands, and shoulder stands. We will work on putting the moves into a mini Low Flow. Natalie will provide numerous modifications and shapes to enhance your pole and floor work skills. This workshop will offer you plenty of new material to incorporate into future routines or photo shoots! ~Prerequisites~ Participants should be ready to learn moves that involve supporting their body weight on their hands, head, forearms, and shoulders. This workshop is for anyone who already has experience with Headstands, Handstands, Shoulder Stands or Forearm stands and wants to work towards more challenging variations or putting moves together into a Low Flow. Please inform Natalie if you have any wrist or neck injuries that require modifications. ~What to Bring/Wear~ -Pole shorts -Sports bra -Your favorite tank top or T-shirt -Pole Grip -Water -Yoga Mat (studio has some to borrow) -socks or Heels are optional *Note:* We will be doing moves that require knee grip, and pole sits, so make sure you wear pole shorts. The floor can be very hard on your head, shoulder and forearm, so make sure you bring a yoga mat or you can use the studio’s yoga mats or crash mats.
